Five 1950's Triumph Motorcycle Wrenches found today

I looked in a box of rusty tools at the flea market today and came up with these 5 Triumph Motorcycle wrenches from the 1950's.  Some of you remember the 250 Tiger Cub, the 500 cc. road machine, and the 650 Bonnevillle.  The flea market vendor said the fellow that had owned these tools had owned a green 500 cc. Triumph.

Sort of a "folk legend" that green motorcycles are unlucky. The wrenches may be all he had left!

Green race cars too, despite the color called "British Racing Green."  Didn't know about
green motorcycles.

It is not all luck.
I worked for a while for a small company that had one company car for people to use to run office errands. It was a nice dark forest green. It was involved in a half a dozen accidents over two years or so. In almost every case the person who hit it said "I didn't even see the car'.....

Blended right in with the landscaping....

Triumph made a 200cc Tiger cub in 1968 they came out with the 250cc TR250 that was a BSA made piece of junk..I was a Triumph dealer back then.I worked on all of them..   Larry

Larry, Where was your dealership? 
I bought two 1967 Mountain Cubs about 15 years ago and built up one nice matching numbers bike. The other I sold as an unfinished project to raise money to restore a '67 Royal Enfield Interceptor.
Yes, it has an oil leak on the sprocket shaft, but it starts and runs great.

The bike in the background is one of those Triumph 250/ BSA engined bikes Larry referred to.

The Cub above. And these two: none of my bikes are show pieces - but they look good in photos.
1969 Triumph Bonneville - period custom - low bars and rear sets - oil filter/cooler - lotsa alloy parts - and engine mods. Owned since 1974.

1967 Royal Enfield Interceptor - bought three years ago for $300 - was in a pig barn since 1974 and smelled like it was in a pig barn since 1967.

Jammer never smelled anything like that - couldn't stay away from it.
