New here, with an unusual wrench/ spanner

Hello all, First post for me since I found this cool site. I love old tools and machines so I suspect that I'll be spending too much time here!

And so for this unusual purpose made wrench / spanner that found it's way into my tool box.
7-3/8" oa length, the open end wrench is 7/8 " , only markings are "326A5" and a letter "F" in a circle. Any ideas as to what or what for?

that when you read their comments, you will want to come back many times.

knowledge ?  take some from them and feed them your thoughts.

now, for your tool,  I do not know what it is, but there are a few people that may come
up with the answer, you will learn who they are.

Welcome Joe. I have seen many thousand wrenchs but that isn't one of them. At the local auction they would call it a specialty tool.

Pretty interesting wrench.   From the dark patina, and shape of the jaws I would put it at 1920 or earlier.  With the unusual curved spanner end, I am guessing  it was an specific adjustment tool for machinery.   Maybe a mill or shaper.   With those numbers someone is likely to come up with a response soon.  Nice find.

I have seen this wrench for sale many times. Not terribly rare. Odd none the less though. I've seen the spanner end on water pump wrenchs on 1930's era tractors.

I agree with Carl , looks like water pump packing wrench. If you can't get an ID here , try

I've got one like yours, believe it says,Leval on it, or something like that.

Perhaps a DeLaval wrench for one of their cream separators.
