reck ratchet spanner

heres an interesting one that i have never seen,,reck ratchet spanner,hang hole is sort of a spanner,,
about 8 inches long

The hang hole looks like it would either be for a spline shaft or maybe to remove rounded off nuts.

I agree on the spline idea, some Maytag wrenches have a spline wrench on them. I also see how it could be used on rounded fasteners, just drive it on, and then twist.
