I saw this today at an antique shop, asking too much for my blood. How much is it worth? They were asking $95 US. Look to be cast bottom and top and there is the anti knock-over strap on the base of the tank. Marked Otto Bernz Newark NJ.

Yikes! that went for some fair coinage..

What a strange design...looks like an oil can with a torch stuck on...

(Can you help wondering if some poor fellow invented it by accident?)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
