Bicycle Research Tools-New to me, how bout choo?
« on: May 17, 2014, 03:43:08 PM »
This aluminum tool came home with us today.  I bought it to confirm my ignorance of the world and its ways.

According to the online story, this wrench is used to restore bicycle wheel rims deformed when a bicycle tire goes flat. The only bicycles in our lives have been hanging up in the garage for more than 30 years.

New one to me too, but if you are selling your collection why still buy? Are you switching over to pliers type tools?

Nope.  I am adding to the collection which I am trying to sell.

BRT has alot of wild stuff. Pricey, but they have tools you won't find easily anywhere else.

The thrill is in the hunt -- there have been two or three "dispersal sales" followed by re-focus collection development among the tool collector universe I'm aware of.
