A Dudly Tool and Dudly Wrench co. Same Company?
« on: June 01, 2014, 03:53:01 PM »
I found these last weekend.  An alligator with a removable serrated jaw and a double sided Monkey?? type.  Are these from the same company?

[Michigan Manufacturer] - excerpt

"...the Dudly Tool Works, of Menominee, will he enlarged within the next two months...

The Dudly wrench, named after its inventor, will he manufactured on a larger sca'e than at present, and in addition, various other wrenches including the "S" wrench, the automobile wrench, and another made exclusively for the Fairbanks-Morse Company will be turned out in this shop.

Pliers of nearly every description will be among the products of the Dudly tool company, and all kinds of steel droy forgings will be done as special work on the side."

But---There is also a Dudley Mfg Co , same place, as well....

The 2 sided nut/pipe wrench (Dudley tool co) is described in Motor world 1915.
Says there are 4 sizes but only lists 9,12, and 15 inch

(Probably obscuring the question more than answering it here)

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
