I been doing a dupont and detail to this genset i picked up in 09.  read more about it on the youtube description.  The grinder i got early spring not knowing if it worked.  thanks 4 looking.

It would be pretty yellow if it was in a D8 :)

(Navy paint comes in 3 colors, gray, gray,  and gray)

I like the battery on the ground for scale, I dunno if people looking at the pic know just how honkin big those engines are ....

You forgot white for lettering & seamist green for office walls.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance!

* Its in Indiana, I don't think i could get the permits 4 this much OLD cast iron from Deval  :smiley:. Grinder weighs 1150 lbs.  thanks.

*This is the closest i could find to Navy stationary machinery grey.  While prepping it there was alot of grey under the sloppy yellow.  When i removed the crankcase breather a good large area of original grey was found,  I matched it to this color (Ford Gray) and left the original paint on the backside of the breather.  thanks.

*What u see weighs around 9500 lbs.  Rusty, tobe clear,  It ran when i got it.  I been dealing with alot of issues with it the last 5 years i had it.  Now its about tweaked out i did a dupont job on it and got decals ordered 4 it.  thanks.

* Its a old 42 gallon Property of Standard Oil Co. product barrel, Probably  from the 20's-30's. Of course not original to unit.  thanks.

Haha I love it!!!!!!!!!!! I have a big 5 hp Queen City pedestal grinder and there is nothing better that using one of these big brutes!!
