Who is the maker of this auto body dolly?
« on: July 13, 2014, 09:15:28 PM »

I have not seen this logo before. It appears that it is a E maybe wrapped in a C incased in a 4 sided shaped logo. There is a number 204 below it. Great old dolly but would like to know the maker…thanks.

the logo doesn't ring a bell? could be a Heller or Porter-Ferguson, they made ones like that. Let me look thru some stuff and see if I can come up with something. my late buddy Terry Cowan would know exactly, he is probably cursing me now for not remembering!

An interesting shape.  I've had/have quite a few dollies but have never seen that one before.

I've never seen the logo either.  I would think that if it was a Heller Bros. That it would have the horse logo on it.

Found one similar in a Duro, number is different.
204 would lead me to Streamline but the style is different.

For some reason I think I have seen that mark as an iron forge mark...
I wish I could remember where/who tho
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Rusty
Would a place in Cleveland maybe ring a bell?  Fairmount? may have spun the foundry off a time or two?

phillie - Did you check to see if the logo looks like the Poor & Co. Canton Forge & Axle logo above?
