I found these in the bottom of a box I purchased.  Everything in it was automotive related.  The left is marked Appleton and the right is marked Ford.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Here's the Ford marking.  If it helps any, I have one that doesn't have any markings except "Pat'd Oct. 31 1916"

Appleton was famous for their spot lights , high quality. Possibly a piece from an early light.
The Ford piece looks like some sort of trigger , with the follower, or a closing device.
You could try the Ford Barn forum if you don't get an answer here.

I'm guessing that the Ford thing is an ignition timer part. The roller would run on a cam and the arm trips an electrical contact.... Just a guess

Weatherhead it is.  It screwed to the side of the building and the cable from the pole entered the upper holes and went down the wall to the meter.
