Alligator wrench Anyone recognize this makers symbol?
« on: December 24, 2014, 04:48:29 PM »

Hi all... I came across this alligator wrench with an interesting makers symbol. I am trying to find out the maker. Anyone recognize the trademark stamp? Symbol looks like a 4 with a scythe on top and reads TRADE MARK. Thanks

Its made by the Forsyth Mfg. Co. of Buffalo NY. I think there was an ad in a back issue of the Missouri Valley Wrench Club Newsletter. Maybe Stan can find it?

Might be Forsythe instead of Forsyth.

I had one of those one time, and Forscythe is what I thought it was.  It took me awhile to figure it out though.
