Well , this is about the forth time I have had to move my small display in the house.
I complained to the management and was told I was lucky to have them on display at all...
So I moved 'em again. Pretty sure they will stay here, but there aint no guarantees in life!

Actually I am very lucky my wife supports my tool collecting, helps keep me sane !!

Your tools are allowed IN the house?

Looking good, I'm allowed a few in the house, very few. 99 1/2 % of mine resided in the basement or the shop.

That looks great, someone out to start a thread specifically showing off their displays and everyone can add to that their own
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

Nice collection. Is that a wooden toolbox in the middle?
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Redvise, I like the idea of putting the tool try on its side and displaying the tools in and on it. Nice!

Thanks !  There are 2 wood boxes, top is a 40's Gerstner and underneath is a Gerstner middle box (or so the guy told me).

Top box was fixed by the PO using steel plates on the inside and ugly nuts and bolts. When I refinished it I used brass nuts and bolts to match the screws in the corner brackets.

I'd like to take all the credit for that idea, but really it came from my wife.

Gerstners should be clearly marked inside the case.
Take a look.

Here I just took a few armloads of tools out of the house and to the shop.   Still have one shelf just for household tools, its over by the gunrack, here in the office, which is my domain.   Can't put up any shelving unless I take out a few piles of books.   Can't take away the train stuff, or the toy tractor stuff, let alone the toy truck stuff.  Then there is the big old stereo sitting here next to me.  Someone told me that normal people can walk into a room without going around the piles, but not sure I believe them.
