That's a neat one but according to the description you couldn't use it on a 9/16 or 5/8.
One end ends at 1/2" and the other starts at 19/32, if I read that correctly.

The ad image looks like the 2nd image in the DATAMP entry for patent no. 1,436,049 ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=1436049&id=48260&set=7 ).  The condition is not too bad for a WAKEFIELD WIZARD NO. 120 -- the markings are visible & the rack teeth for the adjustable jaws are in relatively good condition.
