did these go with a particular socket set? What are they used for ?

They are sockets for Chicago MFg & Distributing Co ratchet in pictures. Patent date and trademark as per photo. THey also made a smaller ratchet with square drive.

thanks so much for your help! I guess I should have figured that out considering I have 5  of the ratchets you posted pictures of!!!! Do you know how many and what kind of sockets came in a set? Did they originally come with a wood box? Some of the sockets don't have the makers mark on them, just a letter and size, are they still with the same ratchet? I know, I know, ..... more questions.

Here is a set that I've just started cleaning up, pretty cruddy, the sockets are different from yours though.
Doesn't have the CH on them but A and a number. When I get through i'll post them.

Here's a couple of the sockets, strange numbering system.
1 3/32 = A37
1 1/32 = A36
15/16 = A18 must be for a different set.
