Does anyone recognize this trademark and who made it?

I found a neat old valve spring compressor for sale.  Seller says that it is IHC, but the trademark does not look like it.  I collect old IHC tools, and this does not look like one................but the trademark is hauntingly familiar.

Anyone recognize it?

There are a bunch of malleable iron tools with that mark that all came out of Chicago. "Bus" Haury found some attributed to Chicago Hardware.

Could you show a full view of the lifter?  I'm working up a "valve tool special"  (based on 1913 & 1917 MOTOR WORLD articles)  to accompany the March MVWC Newsletter & that mechanism looks like a common one that I might be able to identify the "manufacturer" from a full view.

That is the logo for Chicago manufacturing & distributing.I have a malleable iron socket and ratchet set with the same logo on the ratchet and the alloy artifacts page describes them as the maker.
