we bought out a closed auto parts store

The store closed down 16 years ago and everything was Made in the USA
We havent found anything made in China and oddly we didnt find any wrenches, not even a screwdriver.
The only wrench related items were these Blackhawk tool display boards

There was a time when Hardware stores shunned cheap items, because they actualy valued the loyalty of their customers, and wanted them to come back, something that wasn't likely to happen after selling them some cheap piece of junk that broke ten minutes after the customer got home....

the scrap metal guy got all the bushings.
 I didnt get the alternators, but I did buy all the antique parts and got some very cool stuff.
I got brake linings for Cadillacs and havent looked at the labels yet but I am sure they are for Caddys in the 1920s and early 30s

My wrecking yard / scrap dealer friend got all the NOS parts from a auto parts store in 1968 when we first met. He burned thousands of wiring harnesses for old cars and trucks for the copper wire. A truck load of copper head gaskets were laid on the ground and ran over with a Cletrac bulldozer to remove the asbestos from them. People would cry if they saw the stuff we were scrapping 40 years ago.

Which ones are you looking for? My buddy has quite a few generator, starter and distributor bushings for 1920's to 1950's cars & trucks.

I am guessing these boards are newer since there is no obstruction wrench. Can you date these?
