What is this Multi-Wrench?
« on: June 12, 2016, 05:11:24 PM »
I picked this guy up at an antique store yesterday from a box of Ford script wrenches. There are no markings on it. It is 10" long.

I've never seen one of these before, but I'm willing to bet someone on here has.

Well I believe it is a multi wrench, just for use in a gas station.  The hex openings look right for the large oil drain plugs on cars, 60 years ago an older.  The square and male squares look like they would fit most transmissions and differentials.  I remember using similar wrenches down in the grease pits of gas stations in the 196os, and they look like they had been doing duty for some time before that.

Believe so.  They are more common without the plugs, though.
