Can someone tell me what this gauge is used for?

Maybe for checking drill bit sizes or just round stock in general?

The numbers on the right are measurements in 64th's of an inch (which of course fall in-between all of the measurement sizes on the left).
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Hello. It is a wire gauge. as already mentioned. I find they give quite accurate measurements.
