Armstrong 20 - 903
« on: September 20, 2016, 08:46:09 PM »
Picked up three ratchets today-- a Williams S-52, a Thorsten 77, and an Armstrong 20 - 903 with round shank and flat handle. Can't find anything about it except that it was replaced by the  20 - 972
Can anyone help with when it was produced, etc?
After a good cleaning  and lube, it looks very nice and works perfectly. It is heavy enough to kill a steer.
The ORIGINAL Northwoods.

I can not help you, but if I may add, Armstrong made some rugged tools.

I have an Armstrong adjustable wrench I found on the side of the road 17 years ago.  It weighs much more than the same size Craftsman and Crescent wrenches.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....
