My first request for help, Artisan Pliers
« on: February 06, 2017, 09:49:40 PM »
I picked up this plier today made by Artisan. I have an Artisan ratchet that I know is made by SK. Did they make other tools as well, like these pliers? Thanks, Steve.

Have you looked at Alloy Artiacts for Artisan info?   Yours looks a great deal like some Wild pliers I own.

Make that, Wilde, out of Kansas.   Have enjoyed using this style for years.

I know for sure i have a 1/2 inch ratchet, a pair of pliers and a adjustable wrench. I have at least one more tool, but i don't remember what it is and i am not sure where any of them are right now.

Lost in space.

Thank you sir! I also have a 1/2" ratchet and now some pliers. Some of this obscure stuff is really fun to find.

I had more than I thought. I also have a punch somewhere. I also have the SK version of the flat handle ratchet, but it needs a rebuild kit in it. I did see your other post about the kits. Thank you. And a picture of me in 9 shirts trying to keep warm.

Now I'm curious, know I have a chisel at least in Artisan.  Going to look at the adjustable wrenches, as soon as it gets above 15 degrees, probably colder inside the barn.

John, what's the 15 degrees stuff? It was 74 and windy here today. Shorts and a tee shirt. I too will have to start checking other tools closer. I had no idea they made the entire tool line in "Artisan".

I think the Artisan brand was a Gambles store brand. I was wrong once so don't take that as gospel.

I always had the impression that the mosquitoes on the plains had antifreeze for blood.

I have a wrench marked Gambles. I should put it with the Artisan wrenches being they are related.
