Unusual Multi-Function (Staking?) Anvil
« on: February 27, 2017, 02:53:48 PM »
Hi again, after a couple years. I hope you all can be as helpful as in previous offerings.

Also I'm hopeful that my pics can be uploaded without undue fuss. I'll go take 'em again, as mine are way too large file size.

Back in a flash...er, as soon as I can.  wlw

My name for it is anvil, but that's simply a guess.
The configuration of the crossbars, with their opposing feet, suggests some kind of staking operation.
Why the tapered, cleat-like wings, is beyond my understanding.

Any and all comments...or questions...most welcome.

Thanks...wlw

The different numbers cast into it make me think it is a part of a larger machine.  It may be some kind of fence or guide bar.

Was thinking the same thing.
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

The combination of letters and numbers is a lot like some old John Deere part numbers.
