Pawnshop today
« on: October 31, 2011, 10:00:16 PM »
Was down in the city today, sun shining and lots of chores waiting for me at home.   Just had to check out a pawn shop I had not been in for at least 6 years.  Dug thru plastic bins of hand tools, almost missed the Yankee brace drill sticking out of the concrete finisher stuff.  Back to the screwdrivers, sockets, etc.  More and more china stuff here.  But, did pull out a very small screwdriver, Stanley(BELL SYSTEM) wood handle.  Plus a second one unmarked that is extremely skinny.  Then two dark old wrenches in the bottom,  a Billings, DOE, 7/16, & 1/2, rough, a second wrench is marked (K:N) 15/32 & 13/32, what is K:N?  Last is a heavy metal hacksaw frame, I must have ten of these, usualy marked UNION tools, but this one is stamped BONNEY!  To think I could have spent  the same amount of cash down at the fancy coffee kiosk.  I think I did good?
