Who made this nail puller?

The name is unreadable on this puller, although it has a partial patent date which is Dec 30.  The interesting thing about this one is that it operates like an auto dent puller.  The heavy center section moves on the shaft to apply force.

I looked through the Nail Puller book and there was only one patent shown for December 30 and unfortunately it bore no resemblance to yours.
That is a nice find. Very unusual.
