Tool ID Question

Trying to find out what the tool in the guys hand is. Any info greatly appreciated!

Looks like a ratcheting drill. Any markings?

And, to add info: these were held against a post braced up to the wood/metal being drilled.  As you operated it, the long part would unscrew, forcing the drill held in the hole at the left in your photo through the material.
