Bought a flat of kitchen utensils because the eggbeater mixers were patented. patents 2049727 and 2210810. 1930-1940 era. Didn't know they sold screwdrivers with kitchen gadgets back then. My only question is "what are those corrugated tools for?" upper right hand corner of picture one. Feel my feet slipping is this another slippery slope ?

Our thought(I got my wife mixed up in this) is that it was used for fancy slicing, such as french fries. I remember seeing sliced carrots that had ridges like this. Just our SWAG.

Yes. Those are old crinkle cutters for potato slicing. My mother had one like my second picture that didn't put fancy crinkles on the fries.

My mom had a tool for fries too.  She called it "McDonalds"
