Union 6" Rule

Hello, This Union 6" rule had a bad case of rust, and discoloration. Last night, I wrapped it in a paper towel, soaked the towel with vinegar, and put it into a plastic sandwich bag. Problem is/was, I forgot to take it out this morning!!! The first photo is 24 hours later, and the second photo is after using liquid English Custom Polish, and some elbow grease, ( let dry, then polish with a soft cloth). Acceptable for now, but needs another round of the polish. Regards, Lou
