Here's the lot, except for the extension lopper.  A "YANKEE HANDYMAN" #133H, and a YANKEE No. 30A, both by North Brothers.

Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

I like all of those kind of tools.  Nice finds there, sometimes the dump has some great stuff.

Quite a few years ago I used to bring my beach chair to the local salvage yard ( it had its own little pond :) ) and set up there for the day, I go out roaming a bit and then sit and relax for a few hours awaiting more junk to be rolled in.

The Yankees were pretty much throw-ins.  The hatchet...  different look, still sharp(!) and I had nothing like it.  I am constitutionally unable to resist an edged tool.  The plane... never saw one like this before, and it's usable as is (I'll make it better!).  This particular dump is my (and my wife's and my elder step-son's) favorite shopping center!  Non tool acquisitions this past Saturday included an over the refrigerator cabinet for $5, and for the same 5, several good books (one on tool sharpening) and a copy of Lawrence of Arabia in video.
