Wooden bench vise

My dad has an old all wooden bench vise that he'd like to identify, and have some idea of its value.  This was taken off of a bench some years ago, and is entirely made out of wood.  See attached pictures.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know if there is any way to identify this if there are no markings.  It may have been part of a commercially made bench, and the bench itself may have had the maker's mark.  I suspect this came as part of a whole bench.

The end of the screw, where the handle runs through, makes me think it is more recent than not since the earliest examples I've seen are round -- just like the earlier all metal vises. 

It looks to be in good usable condition, and some of us appreciate a wood screw bench vise, especially one that has some antique value.  This one has more appeal for me than some brand new vise.

I found one similar vise on ETSY, but no indication of price, since it has been sold already. 

A newly made wood screw and nut -- just the screw and nut -- ran $135.   Antique leg vises with wooden screw and nut are offered on eBay at $40, $50, and $79, but no bids have been made on them.  There is one for $19-something that currently has one bid.

The threads on this one are in better condition than those I have seen for sale.  It's quite a good vise.
