Let the pic speak for itself.  Stopped at an early garage sale that listed tools.  I did not take away all he had, this was all in the one box that I bought for $10.   More like an estate sale that they just wanted the stuff gone.  Were 5 more tool boxes but I think this was the lions share.   All US sized tools, the only imports were the tiny ignition wrenches.  Half were Craftsman, lots of SK, SK Electrolite, Husky, Snapon, Mac, New Britain, even a half inch SnapOn ratchet, things aren't as rusty as in apperance, the red stuff wipes off most of it.   Even a few Giller and a Thorsen or two.  Latches were broke, so that made the box awkward to handle.  This might fill up a few sets of mine.  Would this be called a gloat?

Nice looking haul!  What is the branding on that pipe wrench?

I think it's a Fuller (which means it's probably made by KTC of Japan)...

Nice haul!

I got a little shock while cleaning up the rust on these wrenches.   Just using some oil and a scotch pad the rusty look is coming off.  Out of nearly 3 dozen wrenches only 2 have real rust damage.   But on some, the Craftsman I've picked out to clean, they don't show any wear, other than toolbox wear!   Still shiny chrome under the grime.   Most of these the jaws show no  wear, the satin areas of the finish look fantastic.   Only one near full set,  Craftsman and Barcalo.   Pulled out a Billings and a Plvmb, same thing, also lots of 1/2 and 9/16.    Standard sockets in 1/2 and 3/8 are nearly complete though.   One solitary Snapon wrench, in 1/2, the rust got their full polish enough to stain it.  Enough bits of junk in the box tells me it was a user, but sure is an odd combination of sizes.

I saw that tool box on the truck of the technician from Polaris last week when he came to service my ranger. He looked like he hadn't changed his clothes for a month and only had very few tools .
He had to use mine .i told him the only way he could was to put his tools back in the truck and only use mine that way they ALL come back where they belong . He looked at my six craftsman cabinets and asked if he could come work for me    LOL ps THEY DID ALL COME BACK  bob w.
