Burnisher and punch

 A couple of garage sale items from today. The burnisher I believe to be fairly new. Made by Crown Tools of Sheffield ,England. Seller didn't know what it was but I'm calling it a burnisher. Looks like a rosewood handle and they evidently make hand made tools.
The punch is Cincinnati Tool and I believe they became Hargrave in 1925,so it has some age to it. Just a couple of tools I wanted to share with the tool appreciators.

Crown might still be in business. Rosewood being their top of the line. I don't see much Crown rosewood.
  Generally a jewelers tool but lots of other uses too.

I don't think I ever saw such a long prick punch as that. Like the head.  It would be good for lining up two holes too.

The Crown tool is definitely a burnisher.    Used for putting a burr on a card scraper,   the original sandpaper.  Actually a  well sharpened and burred card scraper will give a much better finish than sandpaper and not leave any dust in the pores.
