Giveaway
« on: October 28, 2012, 05:31:07 PM »
I have had this for approx 40 + years. I was even using it at one point on the bench I have now but dont ever see using it again since I have my fathers and am proud to use that.

I may have to cut the handle off to ship it. I cant spend a whole lot on shipping since I dont have it. International people are welcome to join in but again if it gets too pricey you may have to help with the shipping cost only.

I am hoping with the handle lopped off I can get it in a flat rate box, maybe not I guess.

If it goes over 12 dollars or so too ship than please re-imburse me the difference, if you dont want to than dont put your name in. If no takers than no problem, Ill just give it to Derek.

I am hoping someone will use it, no re-sellers please. Thanks

Sent the pict. to Oily to post for me

STEP AWAY FROM THE LOPPERS

"Give it to Oily - He'll take anything" :-)

seriously - please put my name in.  I would appreciate being able to help it when I'm able......but NO CUT on the handle I'll gladly pay the shipping.

I own at least two of those, so will sit this one out; but you might look at a flat rate box.  You can find the dimensions here: https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail-flat.htm.  It'd be a shame to cut that handle off.

Lop the handle off though. I can't afford shipping on that either.

I made the handle as a kid so its not a great loss, if it were original to the vice than I would not consider it

What is the dimensions? Will it fit in a medium Flat rate shipping Box?
Would love to make use of that vice... If need to cut handle end to remove & send with vice. I can reattach handle if in good shape.

$11.35  Priority Mail® Medium Flat Rate Box
13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8"
11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"

Longest portion is a little over 18 inches so I guess a F.Rate box is out of the question. Again, everyone re-read the first post and if anyone wants out just let me know, no problem

The 13-5/8" box, corner to corner is 18". So it just don't fit. I'll bow out as I WON the last one you did 9/29/12..
