picked at sale yesterday, only marking found reads to me is, "the wrench wrench" with a stamped circle, i don't know if the circle has anything to do with logo or manufacturer.  the letter "e" of the word "the" runs into the circle at top of stamped area.  the word "wrench" is clear at the bottom of stamped area, but the letters wr---h are barely readable in the center of the stamped area and i think that line reads "wrench". It'll take some strong eyesight to see the letters in the photo. i used magnifier to get wr---h from that line. anyone know this wrench? thanks.

rusty

Perhaps Wright Wrench?
Doesn't seem to match anything tho....hmm
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

It should read THE KEITH WRENCH / KEITH MFG. CO. AURORA, ILL. Patent is on DATAMP at
http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=447952&id=40407&set=1

It's in Schulz (No. 684) and there is also a variation with a wooden handle.

Have sold a couple on Wrenching News Auctions including one (Lot 603) on the 2009 Ervin-Matz Auction:

Here a wooden handle example from my collection:
