from todays estate sale
« on: June 07, 2013, 09:12:59 PM »

carter by farmgate, on Flickr

They wanted $12 for the Carter Carburetor parts box and I got 2 Buffalo Barcalos on the left then a Blackhawk and  a bunch of nice open end Protos, then  the box end group of Protos, the three on the right include an SK,  Armstrong Armalloy, and a Indestro Super stamped on the end.
The big wrench in the front is a Vanadium Barcalo Buffalo  ,
I didnt have the camera set right so things are distorted.     The Carter box should be flat across the front

Nice stuff!
A day one gets some Proto's and Indestro's is a good day.

With my new bi-focals, the front of that Carter box does look flat! lol

I've always thought of Superman when I look at a Williams Super-Wrench and Indestro Super reminds me of indestructible, and Bonney  means attractive. Lot of our old tools have great names.
The estate sale ad showed a picture of the Carter box and thats what I went after, the wrenches were a bonus
