I bought this catalog at a steam show today and when I looked it up (did not find this exact one) I saw that there were a lot of reproductions out there and a couple from this company.
So my question is, when I run my fingers over the pages I feel a little ridge over the pictures and words, is that a sign of an original or reproduction?

If you want more pics of the pages just let me know.

Usually if you can feel the type, it's from a laser printer or copy machine (they print with melted powered plastic)

Most repro's say so inside the back cover somewhere.....

I don't see anywhere where it says repo or revised and the boss says the whole page has a textured feel to it not just the words and pics like I said. A couple more shots.

Hard to tell from the photos , but it looks copied to me. Odd colors.
Seems like if they repo them , there would be an add on google , unless it's an old copy.

The cover is not even a tiny bit dog eared.  98 years is a long time for a catalog to go unopened. My money is on repo.

This catalog is glued and stapled too, would that be normal for the time?

Glue and staples go way back, doesn't help.

Fuzzy paper just means it is a heavy weight paper, better quality than usual, still doesn't help, could just be a good repro...

Is there a copyright inside the front cover? and if so, does it say anything after it ?

No copyright anywhere that I see. Can't go by the color either pics were taken at my desk with bad lighting.
