You use this, I assume, for holding jewelry when filing and fitting it?

Man, that's one serious vise!  You probably realize that using your grandson as a size indicator has the fatal flaw that he won't stay the same size over time; but it was a nice extra in the photo.  Cute kid.

No info other than i got it off ebay from watchtower farms wallkill ny.  it came as 1 package.
