Found another New Lobster wrench yesterday
« on: September 28, 2013, 11:14:51 PM »
Found another "New Lobster" adjustable wrench at the local flea market.  Made in Japan, this one is 6 inches long. I cleaned it up as it appeared to be poorly maintained.

Anybody else finding these New Lobster tools?

In the 70s, I bought some tools from a company called Pacific Freight and Salvage.  A bit like Harbor Freight today, but never researched it.   I bought a set of adjustables, Lobster brand, japan.  Still have 4 of the 5, all used heavily, and none ever broke or let me down.  At the time Japanese tools were looked down on, as the cheap socket sets usually didn't wear very well.   The chrome hasn't even peeled on the ones I have.
