my recent finds.

while not full, just to clarify size wise, they are 5lb spools and not 1lb.

Thanks, I like the clamp and would like more like it for welding.

I doubt many people know what the tool above it is.

the tool looks like a bandit type clamp tool, like the type for CV boot clamps...

looks like one of those pliers that open up a castration ring.  also can be use to remove tails from farm animals.

it is a modern tool, not old, but what it works on has been around for a century.

Nope!
It is for tightening brake/shift cables on a bicycle.
The cable goes thru the notch in the lower jaw, when you squeeze the cable is pinched between the curved piece and the flange on the upper jaw and is pulled taught. Then you tighten down whatever clamps the cable on the brake or derailleur.
