Do You Recognize This?

Hi, All! A friend is trying to identify this tool, and while helping him search, I found this site.
My guesses so far have involved hay bales, ice blocks and the planting of seeds, none
of which seem to be correct. For the sake of scale, it's about a foot long, with the tooth
section four inches across. Thank you for your help. :)

It is a carpet stretcher, for back in the day when carpet was nailed down.  Hence the spike on the separate handle.  The carpet was pulled into place with the rake teeth.
