no-name ratchet,what is it?

picked at a local estate sale,works,but not that good...uses a 1/2" plug

That almost looks like one I'd try and make.  :smiley:
But the handle looks too newish and "light" for a female plug era tool.

If I had an old female plug ratchet that didn't work, I'd drive out the rivets holding it together, repair it, and reassemble with some allen socket head screws.

its the simplest design,the head rocks back and forth...

I had one very similar that was S·K but it was riveted where the nuts are. I have seen two or three others similar and all were riveted construction.
All my taste is in my tools.
